RM19 million Islamic Crystal Jug

Have you read today’s news paper?? If you read NST newspaper, you will find out about this Islamic crystal jug. A rare Islamic crystal jug, mistaken earlier this year for a cheap French claret pitcher, has sold at auction for almost RM19.6 million. An anonymous bidder bought the 1000 years old rock crystal ewer, one of only seven of its kind known to exist, during a sale on Tuesday of Islamic and Indian art at Christie’s auction house. As a Muslim I feel proud of this crystal jug because it’s come from art of Islamic world. It was a rarest and most desirable works of art from the Islamic world.

Can Earth EXPLODE??

In your opinion, did you feel that earth will be exploded?? If you think it was impossible, I will show you some evidence. The real danger for our entire civilization comes not from slow climate changes, but from overheating the planetary interior. Polar ice caps melt not because the air there is warmer than 0 deg Celsius, but because they are overheated from underneath. Volcanoes become active and erupt violently not because the Earth's interior "crystallizes", but because the planetary nucleus is a nuclear fission reactor that needs COOLING. The discovery has been published in June 2001 by the new scientific journal NUJournal.net. If you want to know more evidences, you should read this journal. When I read this journal, sometimes I feel bored because I couldn’t understand some of scientific term. However, it was very good for our addition knowledge.

Chicken Pox...

This week is unlucky weeks for my roommate. Why?? It was ashamed story to share, but it was interesting story t share with. Actually my roommate had infected by chicken pox diseases. Maybe, this is terrible week for him. Don’t worry, I will not be infected by this disease twice because I already infected during my secondary school. I already had an antibody in my body to curve this disease. Then, I was searching information about dermatology to know more about chicken pox. Chicken pox is a highly contagious viral infection caused by the varicella virus. The word chickenpox comes from the Old English word "gican" meaning "to itch" or from the Old French word "chiche-pois" for chickpea, a description of the size of the lesion. It causes typical viral symptoms like fever, fatigue, joint pains, headache, and swollen glands. These symptoms usually resolve by the time the rash develops. Articles that I had read give me a new knowledge and could help my roommate to understand his condition.

GOLIATH BEETLE...

The biggest insect is GOLIATH BEETLE. We have to accept the fact that beetles are master of the planet. The first species of insect that could be called a beetle appeared on earth over 300 million years ago. And they've been here ever since, increasing their numbers, evolving into countless different varieties, and adapting to climates in almost every environment possible. Of all the billions of insects on earth those belonging to the beetle family are the most numerous of any other species. By sheer numbers alone, beetles have won the title of The Most Successful Form of Life. Beetles inhabit every corner of the globe in all kinds of weather. You could say that we're living on the planet of the beetles. So, we have to respect and treat all insect wisely because each of them plays their own role in this earth.

The COLOSSAL Squid!!

How big the squid you had seen in your life?? I had read the news article about the colossal squid from earth science portal on extreme science. The colossal squid named Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni. This species of squid was first identified in 1925 after two arms were recovered from a sperm whale's stomach. In 2003 a virtually intact specimen of this never-before-seen squid had been brought up in Antarctic waters from an estimated depth of 2,000 to 2,200 meters. And recently, in February of 2007 a live colossal squid was brought to the surface in Antarctic waters by a New Zealand fishing boat. This time video was taken and the squid was captured for scientific study. From the pictures, you could see how big it is. After I read this article, I feel the ocean is the horrible place. There are many creations that were out of our imagination. However, I like to read this article.
