I had read a funny story from African Stories Database. It’s about a man in African named Joe. One day he got a haircut in Nairobi, Kenya. Returning to the AMECEA (Catholic Bishops of Eastern Africa) Office, he stopped to greet the Secretary General Bishop Vincent McCauley who was an American. He exclaimed, "Joe, you got your ears lowered." Not understanding this particular English idiom, his good friend the Ugandan priest Father Joe Mukwaya rushed in from the other room thinking that Joe had been injured. So, the moral of story, we need to gain our knowledge and soft skills in communication. Maybe this misunderstand happened to some of us but in different condition…
